Steps to Promise

Salinas Valley Promise Program Application

Fall 2025 Application Submission Deadline is Friday, May 30, 2025. Application is closed for new first-time college students.

Students who are currently in the Salinas Valley Promise program DO NOT need to reapply.
SVP applicants and continuing scholars are protected from non-payment for Fall 2025 tuition until eligibility is confirmed. The application review process will begin after the application closes.
The Salinas Valley Promise program only covers Fall and Spring semesters. If you need financial assistance for the summer semester, please contact the Financial Aid Department at finaid@hartnell.edu  or 831-755-6806.
Fall 2025 notifications of admission into the Salinas Valley Promise will be sent via Hartnell email communication mid to late-July. Please continue to read your Hartnell emails during the summer for updated information.

Steps to Apply

Submit an application for admissions to 欧美群交 through 

Submit the Salinas Valley Promise Program Application

A Hartnell student ID and account is required to sign-in and submit the form (see Step 1)

 

Submit the  or 

  • Fall 2025 applicants complete a 2025-2026 FAFSA or CADAA application 

Please indicate 欧美群交 (School Code: 001209) on your application. Up to 7 schools can be added.

and continue as a full-time student at 欧美群交 during Fall and Spring semesters deadlines (12 or more units each semester).

  1. Waitlisted courses do not count towards the 12 units
  2. It is highly recommended you participate in the  Panther Prep Pledge

Students enrolled in fewer than 12 units may be eligible for SVP when eligible for a reduced course load as a Department of Supportive Programs and Services (DSPS) accommodation

Note: Dual Enrollment students are exempt from this requirement

Choose one or more of the following options:

  1. Counseling course for Fall/Spring: COU-1, COU-21, or COU-23
  2. Summer or Winter Math Academy 
  3. Summer bridge hosted by approved support programs*
Approved Support Programs: TRiO, Vocational Nursing Program (VN), Computer Science in 3 Years (CSin3), CCAP Dual Enrollment, Learning to Lead Program, Teacher Pathway Program (TPP), MESA Program, EOPS

Students will be notified via Hartnell Student email of admission into the Salinas Valley Promise program. Acceptance to the program will require completion of a program agreement contract. The SVP program does not cover summer courses. The application review process will begin after the application closes. 

Note: Dual Enrollment students are exempt from this requirement
